Mr. James Edward "Ed" Blanchard, Sr. of 2275 Underwood Road, Eastover, passed away at his residence on December, 5 2009 after a battle with cancer.
Mr. Blanchard was founder and operator of One Stop Reality for over 35 years, when he retired to manage his investment properties and spend time with his family.
He was the son of the late Robert Blanchard and is survived by his mother, Lela Brown Blanchard.
Other Survivors of Mr. Blanchard include his wife of 46 years, Sandra Blanchard; sons, Ed Blanchard, Jr. and Steve Blanchard; daugther Victoria Blanchard Childress; Grandson, Hunter Childress; Granddaughter, Cassidy Blanchard; Daughter-in-law, Sherril Watkins; Brother-in-law, Buster Woodcock; four brothers, Charles Blanchard, Jimmy Blanchard, Larry Blanchard and Danny Blanchard; three sisters, Frances Bullard, Betty Hobbs and Debbie Birchfield and their families. Other extended family members include numerous cousins and their families and a host of friends who are considered family.
A brief Memorial and Celebration of the Life of Mr. Blanchard will be held Tuesday, December 8th at 6:30 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman.
