James "Jc" Cecil Brisson

James “JC” Cecil Brisson, 71 passed away on Tuesday, November 07, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Monday, November 13, 2023 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel, officiating will be Rev. Andy Wood.

JC was born June 19, 1952, and was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Hales Owens; sister, Debbie Kelly; and his brother, Roger Brisson.

JC loved to fish in his spare time and had recently retired from Purolator, where he worked for over 47 years.  He was also a United States Navy Veteran.  JC will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his son, Casey Brisson & wife, Ashley; daughter, Ashley Ray & husband, James; granddaughters, Logan Brisson and Payton Ray; grandson, Gage Brisson; JC's significant other of 24 years, Susan Flynn; two brothers, Steve Brisson and Lynn Davis; and his sister, Pat Williamson.
