Mr. James David Carter, 53

LINDEN Mr. James David Carter, 53, of 8264 Colliers Chapel Rd. passed away Sunday, March 22 at his home. He was a truck driver. He was born in Cumberland County on September 27, 1955. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, March 26 at Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Tew and Rev. Steven Lloyd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Carter is survived by: son, James David Carter II of Linden; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Carter of Covington, KY; girlfriend, Teresa F. Reed of Linden; father, Garfield Carter (wife Shirley) of Fayetteville; mother, Eva Mae Raynor of Linden; two grandsons. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M.
