Mr. James T. Brisson, 92

EASTOVER Mr. James Thomas Brisson, 92, passed away Saturday at Bethesda Health Care Facility in Eastover. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009 at 3:00 pm at Stedman Church of God of Prophecy with the Rev. Donald Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Brisson was a self-employed woodworker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth K. Brisson, a daughter, Clara Branch, two grandchildren, Sylvia Gordon and Gary Branch, and a brother, Charlie Brisson. Mr. Brisson is survived by: son, Ret. Minister, James E. Brisson and wife Linnette, of Rolesville, NC; three brothers, Robert Brisson, of Stedman, Preston Brisson and wife Phyllis, of Maryville, Tennessee and Ret. Pastor, Marvin Brisson, of Kernersville; two grandchildren, Bishop Ron Brisson and wife Joy and Brenda Gillum and husband Scott; six great-grandchildren, Beth Brisson, Nathan Brisson, Brittaney Hagy and husband Jay, Pierce Gillum, Christopher Hall and Tabitha Hall; great great-grandchild, Kacey Hall. The family will receieve friends on Tuesday from 2-3 pm at the church Butler Funeral Home in Stedman is assisting the Brisson family.
