Mr. James Windolph Autry, 76

AUTRYVILLE Mr. James Windolph Autry, 76, of 537 Ronnie Road, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Long Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Spell and Rev. Paul Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Carmel Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery. Mr. Autry was born on June 1, 1936, in Sampson County to the late Hardy James and Maggie Autry. He was a Supervisor MMD for Civil Service in Fort Bragg for 30 years. He is survived by: his wife, Paulette Autry of the home; one daughter, Beverly Bass of Castle Hayne; one son, James L. Autry and wife, Tracy of Stedman, three grandsons, David Autry, James D. Autry and Bryan Bass; one sister, Jeanette Autry of New Castle, DE; one brother, John R. Autry of Raeford. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
