Mr. J. K. "Nookie" Mclamb, 81

FAYETTEVILLE Mr. J. K. "Nookie" McLamb, 81 of Fayetteville and formerly of Roseboro, passed away on Monday, February 17, 2012 at the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 11:00 A. M. Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Rev. Danny Lewis and Rev. Andy Wood officiating. Burial will follow in the Sandy Horne Cemetery in Autryville. Mr. McLamb was born on June 7, 1932 in Sampson County, to the late Thedie and Clyda Tew McLamb. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean New McLamb. He was a retired employee of the Boren Brick Company. He is survived by one daughter, Robin Torres and husband, Phillip of Fayetteville; two sons, Joey McLamb of Fayetteville and Michael McLamb and wife, Jenny of White Oak; one sister, Delores Royal of Salemburg; 2 grandchildren, Jesse McLamb and Bonnie McLamb of White Oak. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday evening at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W.
