Mrs. J. Edith Breshears, 81

FAYETTEVILLE Mrs. Edith Breshears, 81 of 3267 Sunnyside School Road, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville. Mrs. Breshears was born in 1927 in Sampson County to the late Thomas and Janie Bass Boyette. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Breshears is survived by: one daughter, Barbara Barfield of Tampa, FL; one son, W. Floyd Breshears of Fayetteville; one sister, Nadine Lohr of Virginia; two brothers, Ernest Boyette and John Boyette, both of Clinton; 6 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 1 until 2 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, in Stedman.
