Mrs. Irma Ellen Stewart Warren, 85, of 3187 Maxwell Road, Autryville, passed away Friday, July 28, 2006 at The Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 PM at Mt. Zion Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeff Stewart and Rev. William Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Warren was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of the late John William and Millie House Stewart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lathan Warren; daughter, Mary Frances Warren; three brothers, J.T. Stewart, Bill Stewart adn Matthew Neil Stewart; grandson, Ricky Warren. She was the owner and operator of a grocery store in the Clement Community for 35 years.
Mrs. Warren is survived by: two daughters, Hilda Knowles and husband David and Gilda McLean and husband Ron, all of Autryville; three sons, David Warren and wife Connie and Clarence Warren and wife Shirley, both of St. Pauls and Vernon H. House, Jr., of Wade; two sisters, Eva Faircloth, of Fayetteville and Greta Johnson, of Godwin; three brothers, Garthie Stewart, of Stedman, Wilbert Stewart, of Wade and Corbett Stewart, of Godwin; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
The family will recieve friends Saturday night from 6-8 pm at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
