Mrs. Iris Rose Spell Cooper

NEWTON GROVE Mrs. Iris Rose Spell Cooper, 69 of 114 S. Church Street, Apt. 4, Newton Grove, passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 at Rex Healthcare in Raleigh. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, March 8, at Newton Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Jim Baldwin officiating. She was born on November 20, 1946 in Sampson County to the late Elliott Lee Spell, Sr. and Mamie Alease Warren Spell. She worked as a Sales Representative with Maxway. She is survived by her husband, Ira Frank Cooper of the home; sister, Debbie Martin and husband Allison of Clinton; sister-in-law, Ann Spell of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
