Mrs. Irene Morris Guin, 81 of 405 Forsythe Street, died on Monday, June 7, 2010 at the Village Green Nursing Home of Fayetteville.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. David Gira officiating. Burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville.
Mrs. Guin was born on November 20, 1928 in Carteret County to the late David R. and Sadie Bell-Eubanks Morris. She worked as a Purchasing Agent with Purlator.
Mrs. Guin is survived by: husband, Arthur M. Guin of the home; two daughters, Connie Craft and husband, Charles of Dade City, FL, and Jackie Guin of Fayetteville; one son, Arthur Guin, Jr. and wife, Pam of Fayetteville; one sister, Lois Matthews of Swansboro; one brother, David R. Morris of Florida; 10 grandchildren, Bonnie Laska, Michael Laska, II, Patricia Fisher, Loretta Scott, Cassie Craft, Charlie Messina, Chris Leal, Johnathan Guin, Devon Guin and Tabatha Guin; 13 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 10, 2010 from 10 to 11 A.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
