Mrs. Irene Beatty

Roseboro Mrs. Irene Beatty, 95, of 660 Mintz Road, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2008 at her home. A graveside service will be held Sunday, April 13, 2008 at 3:00 p. m. at Roseboro Cemetery with the Rev. Andy Wood and Rev. Bobby Herring officiating. Mrs. Beatty was the daughter of the late Henry Cameron and Cora Bell Balkcum Ezzell. Mrs. Beatty is survived by: daughter, Clara Lockamy, of Clinton; son, Oliver Lee Beatty, of Wilmington; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Elsie Williams and Emma Tatum. The family will receieve friends on Sunday, April 13, 2008 from 2:00-2:45 at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
