Mr. Ireland Lee Autry, 71 of Fayetteville passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He was born in Sampson County January 25, 1944 to the late Hughie Lee Autry and Crayon Holland Autry. He was a salesperson for Bryan Honda in Fayetteville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the military honor guard at the funeral of President Kennedy. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, July 13 at Long Branch Baptist Church in Autryville. A private burial will take place at a later date at George Horne Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Alice Autry of the home; three sisters, Lois Martin of Autryville, Elizabeth Spell of Hope Mills and Kathleen Koester of Hope Mills. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM Monday at the church
