Infant Hudson Franklin Holmes, went home to be his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, July 17, 2026 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church in Roseboro. Burial will follow in the Ezzell Family Cemetery.
Hudson is survived by his parents, Ethan Michael and Victoria Ann Hobbs Holmes; a brother, Conner Holmes; maternal grandmother, Lisa Elaine Casteen; paternal grandparents, Michael and Ellie Holmes; maternal great grandparents, Virginia and Darrell Szwaja; paternal great-parents, Carrie Seger and J. W. and Betty Ezzell; aunts, Megan Hobbs, Chelsea Hobbs and Reagan Hardison and husband, Caleb; and uncle, Lance Holmes.
