FAYETTEVILLE Mrs. Ida Evelyn Davis, 87, of 909 Coldwater Dr. died Wednesday, January, 18 at Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, TN. She was a homemaker. She was born in Gaston County, NC, the daughter of the late Charles R. Shambach and Mae Elizabeth Trego. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Vester K. Davis and a son, Robert Wayne Davis. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 21 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Rev. Ed Rogers officiating. Burial will follow at Layfayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville. Mrs. Davis is survived by three sons, Jerry F. Davis (wife Betty) of Fayetteville, Mike R. Davis (wife Connie) of Butler, TN and Larry G. Davis (wife Christy) of Eastover; ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
