Mrs. Ida Mae Davis, 86 of 619 Live Oak Methodist Church Road, died on Friday, January 1, 2010 at the home of her son, 1117 Ozzie Road, Clinton.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Suggs Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Kinlaw, Rev. David Welch and Rev. David Rutland officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Davis was born on April 4, 1923 in Bladen County to the late Sidney Graham and Ollie Mae Cain Edge. She is preceded in death by: her husband, Mangum B. Davis; one daughter, Ruby Mae Davis; and one son, Ronald B. Davis. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Davis is survived by: three daughters, Hazel L. Bass, Linda Marie Parker and Wilma F. Bass, all of Clinton; three sons, Jackie G. Davis of Clinton, Erwin Davis of Newport, and Jerry E. Davis of Fayetteville; two sisters, Geraldine Rice of Fayetteville, and Lorette Autry of Bunn Level; twenty-two grandchildren, forty great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday afternoon from 1 to 2 P.M. at Suggs Grove Baptist Church, 16618 N.C. Highway 53 W., Fayetteville.
