Mr. Hubert Melvin Tyndall, 83, of 1621 Autry Highway, Roseboro, passed away Tuesday at Mary Gran Nursing Center.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 24, 2006 at 3 PM at Roseboro Church of God with the Rev. Richard Norville, Rev. James C. Barker, Jr., Rev. Donald Masey and Mr. Lester Tyndall officiating. Burial will follow in the community cemetery.
Mr. Tyndall was a native of Sampson County, the son of the late Arie and Hillie Alton Fann Tyndall. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Faye Tyndall, his second wife, Rose Barnes Tyndall; a grandson, Anthony Tyndall and a sister, Lois Autry.
Mr. Tyndall is survived by: daughter, Elizabeth Bullard, of Roseboro; six sons, Jerry Tyndall, of Broadway, Willie Tyndall, of Clinton, Earl Tyndall, of Laurinburg, Sherwood Tyndall, of Fayetteville, Steven Tyndall, of Southport and Ricky Tyndall, of Bennettsville, SC; 9 step-children, JD Barnes, Annie Carter, Bobby Barnes, Wanda Tyndall and Ricky Barnes, all of Garland, Mary Gibbson, of Maryland, Barbara Norris and Jimmey Barnes, both of Winston-Salem and Dianne Glover, of Sanford; brother, Charlie Tyndall, of Fayetteville; 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
The family will recieve friends Wednesday night from 7 till 9 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
