Mr. Howard W. Sessoms went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 11, 2025 at his home in Salemburg, NC with his devoted wife by his side.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Salemburg PFWB Church Cemetery, 180 Old Salemburg Road, Salemburg, NC 28385.

The family will receive friends following the service at the church. No home visitation.

Mr. Sessoms was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Brett Sessoms, his father, Weldon Manley Sessoms, and his cherished mother-in-law, Alice Riner Faircloth.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Frances Faircloth; his mother, Katherine Sessoms of Fayetteville; his brother, Kenneth Sessoms of Fayetteville; his son, Daryl Sessoms of Statesville, NC; his daughter, Tara Sessoms Shealy of Hope Mills; four grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; a much loved and cherished niece and nephew, Jessica and Canyon Hernandez; a dearly beloved aunt, Ellen Cashwell; and very dear friend Manley Faircloth.

The family would like to give a very special thank you to the staff of Liberty Hospice Center especially Alecia, Nicole, Tawanna and Rickema.
