GOLDSBORO
Mr. Horace Edwin Ezzell, 84 of 400 Old Smithfield Road, Goldsboro, died on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at the O'Berry Neuro-Medical Treatment Center in Goldsboro.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Long Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Spell officiating. Burial will follow at the Sandy Horne Cemetery in Autryville.
Mr. Ezzell was born on July 9, 1927 in Sampson County to the late Henry Judson and Georgiana Suggs Ezzell. He is preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Grace Horne, Clara Naylor, Mallie King and Edith Ezzell; and two brothers, Woodrow Ezzell and Jethro Ezzell.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday at Long Branch Baptist Church, 2868 Minnie-Hall Road, Autryville.
