Horace Monroe Canady, 67 went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 30, 2021 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, September 3, 2021 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman, officiating will be Rev. Donald Baldwin.

He is preceded in death by his father, Rasbun W. Canady.

Horace worked at Home Depot for many years.  He enjoyed watching wrestling, looking at old cars, and especially listening to country music.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Arleen Canady of Florida; sons, David Canady & wife, Kim of Wade, and Alan Canady & wife, Amanda of Stedman; mother, Lucille Canady of Eastover; step-daughter, Erika Simpson & husband, Mike of Florida; step-son, Joe Fernandez & wife, Lynn of Georgia; grandchildren, Noah, Abigael, Aiden and Autumn; and a brother, Robert Canady of Eastover.
