GODWIN Mr. Homer Conway "Pete" Bullock, 67 of 3381 Autry Mill Road, died on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at Clement Baptist Church with Dr. James E. Dees, Jr. and Bishop Warren H. Barfield officiating. Burial will follow at Minson Williams Cemetery in Autryville. Mr. Bullock was born on January 15, 1944 in Cumberland County to the late Jessie Jerome and Oleta Honeycutt Bullock. He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Jerome Bullock. He was the owner and operator of WHI Sand and Gravel Company. He is survived by: his wife, Joyce S. Bullock of the home; two sons, Johnny M. Bullock and wife Heather of Parkton and Gregory C. Bullock and wife Katherine of Godwin; one sister, Sonja Capps McLamb of Salemburg; one brother, Wayne L. "Buck" Bullock and wife Tami of Stedman; and three grandchildren, Jessica Marilyn Bullock of Buies Creek, Johnny M. Bullock, Jr. of Dunn and Caitlin L. Bullock of Parkton. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman, and other times at the home. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to the Clement Baptist Church Building Fund, 6175 Maxwell Road, Autryville, NC 28318.
