Mrs. Hilda Bryant Mullins, 74

STEDMAN Mrs. Hilda Bryant Mullins, 74 of 2571 Pea Field Road, died on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Rambeau and Rev. Frank Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Mullins was born on February 1, 1936 in Hagerstown, Maryland, to the late Ernest Harold and Lena Irene Rider Peterson. She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Evans Junior Bryant and her second husband Chilton Darrell Mullins; and four brothers, Jerry Wayne Peterson, Ernest Harold Peterson, Ronald Gene Peterson and Paul Joseph Peterson. She is survived by: two daughters, Patricia Atwood of Lumber Bridge and Cynthia Bryant of Pawleys Island, SC; four sons, Harold Bryant of Autryville, Lee Bryant of White Oak, Chris Bryant of Autryville and Dayton Bryant of Stedman; two sisters, Shirley Cordell of Stedman and Elizabeth Irene Shilling of West Virginia; two brothers, Thomas Edgar Peterson and Robert Gene Peterson both of Hagerstown, Maryland; 17 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman, and other times at the home.
