ROSEBORO
Mr. Henry Jarvis "Jervis" Faircloth, 72 of 3425 Elizabethtown Highway, died on Friday, September 4, 2009 at the home of his daughter.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Guy and Rev. Paul Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg.
Mr. Faircloth was born on July 13, 1938 and was a native of Sampson County. He is preceded in death by: his parents, Daniel Hayes and Mary Frances Williamson Faircloth; one brother, Murphy McLeod; two sisters, Louise Williams and Rosie McLeod. He was retired from Tyson Foods.
Mr. Faircloth is survived by: his wife of 47 years, Peggy Faircloth of the home; two daughters, Mannie Williams and husband Ricky, of Roseboro, and Judy Hegg and husband Dennis, of Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren, Mary Anne Walker of Roseboro, and James Jefferson of Middlesex; two great grandchildren, D.J. Walker and Elijah Walker; and one brother, Tate McLeod and wife Jean, of Roseboro.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, and other times at the home.
