Hellen June Hairr

STEDMAN Ms. Hellen June Hairr, 66 of Stedman, passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 at her home surrounded by family. The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Monday, March 29, 2021 at Mount Carmel Church of God of Prophecy, 1655 Mount Carmel Church Road, Autryville, with Pastor Bryan Strickland officiating.  Burial will follow at Zoar Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Salemburg. She was born November 17, 1954 in Sampson County and was preceded in death by her father, Earl D. Hairr; and mother, Callie Louray Faircloth Starling.  She retired from Goodyear Tire Company. She is survived by three sons, Marshall Bryant Johnson and wife Janet, Dallas Lee Knight, Anthony Lee Knight and wife Megan; six grandchildren, Tori Leigha Knight, Michael Bacot, Tyler Bryant, Brittney Schoonmaker, Jessica Bieber, Hannah Caviness; five great grandchildren, Jace Bacot, Jackson Bacot, Marlo Bryant, Makiya Breeden, Sadie Ellie Mae Locklear; four sisters and one brother, Cindy Owens and husband Billy, Steven Hairr and wife Margaret, Callie Crumpler and husband Eugene, Debbie Gainey and husband Ray, Windy Fassula and husband Tom; and her loving cat, Katie. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Sunday evening at Mount Carmel Church Family Life Center and other times at her home. Butler Funeral Home of Roseboro is serving the family.
