Helen Mae (Strickland) Johnson, 87 passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021 surrounded by her family.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, February 28, 2021 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman, officiating will be Rev. Ronnie Johnson and Rev. Kenneth Simmons.  Burial will follow at Johnson Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the funeral home.

Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, she will be truly missed by all who knew her.  She was also longtime member of Macedonia Holiness Church and co-owner of Johnson Gas & Grocery for 52 years with her husband, Levie.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Davis Strickland and Nancy Maynor Strickland; and a daughter, Helena Jane Autry.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Levie Johnson; sons, Ronald Evander Johnson, Donald Ray Johnson & wife, Connie and Danny Martin Johnson & wife, Lorie; brothers, David Strickland, Roger Dale Strickland and Andrew D. Strickland; sister, Christine Maynor; son-in-law, Billy Ray Autry; 10 grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren.
