Helen Dale Greene Christie, 69 passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman, officiating will be Rev. Louis Pender.

Helen was a cook at Wiener Works in Fayetteville for many years.

Helen was born in Sampson County to the late Perdie and Annie Greene. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her siblings, Annie Grace Mixon, Bobby Greene and Preston Greene.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Penelope Acfalle & husband, Harry, and Kelly Williams; grandchildren, Heavyn, Alexander and Aaron Acfalle, Zachary Harvey and Peyton Martin; great grandchildren, Sebastian Acfalle, Rose Mitchell, Zaiden and Adrian Harvey; and her siblings, Sylvia Greene Faircloth & husband, Manley, and Benny Greene & wife, Pam.
