ROSEBORO Mrs. Hazel Maxine Bullard Hall, 71 of 107 Broad Street, Roseboro, died on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Beaver Dam Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Shook, Rev. Paul Honeycutt and Dr. Alice M. Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Hall was born on March 25, 1943 in Sampson County to the late Fred Luther and Catherine Norris Bullard. She was a Worthy Matron of the Roseboro Eastern Star Chapter 229 and was District Deputy Grand Matron of the 8th District of the Grand Chapter of North Carolina Order of the Eastern Star. She was a homemaker. She is survived by: her husband, Percy Gene Hall of the home; two daughters, Gretta Steffens of Roseboro and Christeen Johnson and husband Bobby of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Charles J. Lott, Emily Steffens and Erin Steffens; and one brother, Billy Bullard of Elizabethtown. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to the North Carolina Eastern Star Scholarship Fund. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W.
