Mrs. Havens W. Spell, 96

AUTRVILLE Mrs. Havens Williams Spell, 96 of 25 LA Lane, died on Monday, March 22, 2010 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. at Union Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Allen West, Rev. Paul Honeycutt, Rev. Carrie W. Parrish and Rev. Randy Barker officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Spell was born on April 14, 1913 and was a native of Sampson County. She is preceded in death by: her parents, Daniel R. and Alma Spell Williams; her husband, Lawrence "Mack" Spell; two daughters, Phyllis S. Hartzog and Alma S. Faircloth; and two sons, Richard O. Spell and Donnie Mack Spell. She retired from the Burlington Textile Industry, and also retired from the Salemburg Grill. Mrs. Spell is survived by: two daughters, Betty Holland Stanley and husband, Dennis of Clinton and Annette Renegar and husband, Robert of Fayetteville; two sons, Billy Spell and wife, Shelby of Salemburg and Charlie Spell and wife, Linda of Stedman; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at the home.
