STEDMAN Ms. Haven Williams, 71 of 7328 Maxwell Road, Stedman died Friday, February 4, 2011 at the Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Clement Baptist Church with Dr. James Dees, Jr. and Rev. Donald Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Ms. Williams was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of the late Olive Earl and Katie Pearl Matthews Williams. She was preceded in death by one son, Timothy Strickland. She is survived by one daughter, Donna Strickland Adams and husband, Jimmy of Oak Ridge, NC and one granddaughter, Haven Leanna Adams of Oak Ridge;; two special cousins, Dixie Wrench and Pat Fisher. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6-8 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
