Mrs. Hattie Louise Simmons Cloniger, 97

Roseboro Mrs. Hattie Louise Simmons Cloniger, 97, of Roseboro, died on Sunday, June 19, 2011 at the Brian Center Health and Rehabilitation Center in Durham. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Roseboro Cemetery with the Rev. Hampton Faircloth officiating. Mrs. Cloniger was born in 1914 in Sampson County to the late A.J. and Hattie I. Lockamy Simmons. She was a homemaker, was preceded in death by her son, Michael Cloniger and was a member of the Roseboro First Baptist Church. Mrs. Cloniger is survived by: daughter, Darcy King, of Chapel Hill; 6 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
