FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Harvey Davis, age 84 of 1476 Jim Johnson Road, died on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Mike Owens officiating. Burial will follow at the Davis Family Cemetery in Elizabethtown. Mr. Davis was born on April 23, 1925 in Bladen County to the late Parson and Josephine Davis Davis. He worked as a Lineman with the Public Works Commission. Mr. Davis is survived by: one son, Horace Davis of Hope Mills; one sister, Ophelia Johnson of Elizabethtown; five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
