Mr. Harvey Thornton,, 63 Jr.

Mr. Harvey Thornton, Jr., 63, of 6899 Beaver Dam Road, Stedman, passed away Tuesday at Highsmith-Rainey Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 4, 2006 at 3 PM at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Paul Honeycutt and Rev. Richard Wittman officiating. Burial will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Mr. Thornton is survived by: son, Wayne Thornton, of Stedman; daughter, Sandra Garner, of Ohio; mother and step-father, Henrietta and DeVond Tew, of Roseboro; two brothers, Bobby Thornton and Steve Tew, both of Roseboro; four grandchildren. The family will recieve friends Wednesday night, May 3, 2006 from 7 till 9 PM at Butler Funeral Home, Roseboro.
