Mr. Harry Atwood Tatum, Jr., 76 went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Wake Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at Beaver Dam Baptist Church with the Dr. Josh Hughes officiating. The burial will follow at Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:50 PM on Sunday, March 10, 2024 at the church prior to the service.

Mr. Tatum was a native of Cumberland County, the son Harry Atwood Tatum, Sr. and Catherine Denson Tatum. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Linda Smith Tatum.

He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Shelly McClanahan and husband, Doug of Raleigh; and Ashley Petrakis and husband, Nick of Raleigh; four grandsons, Connor McClanahan, Cameron McClanahan, Andrew Petrakis and Cole Petrakis; his brother, Curtis Tatum, Sr. of Eastover; and his sister, Cathy Vinson of Harrells.

In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the Youth Fund at Beaver Dam Baptist Church, 4693 Beaver Dam Church Road, Roseboro, NC 28382.
