Mr. Harry S. Smith, 57

FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Harry Stewart "Smitty" Smith, 57 of 4445 Hummingbird Place, died on Monday, April 20, 2009 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, Stedman, with Dr. Franklin Hunt officiating. Mr. Smith was born in 1951 in Sampson County to the late Amos Jr. and Elsie Smith Smith. He was a Carpenter. Mr. Smith is survived by: his companion, Linda Carter; one sister, Vivian Watts of Garland; one niece, Kerri Watts Shields of Clarksville, TN; one nephew, Brian E. Watts of Plymouth, IN; one great nephew and two great nieces. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 7 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Victory Junction, In memory of Harry S. Smith, 4500 Adam's Way, Randleman, N.C. 27317.
