Harry Love Nunnery

SALEMBURG Mr. Harry Love Nunnery, 69 of Salemburg, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. The funeral service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Bonnetsville Church of God of Prophecy, 3497 Roseboro Highway, Clinton, with Minister Robert Cribbs and Reverend Bryan Strickland officiating.  Burial will follow at Stedman Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery. Harry was born on April 5, 1952 in Cumberland County to Jasper Love and Ethel Jane Johnson Nunnery.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Howard Nunnery, Dale Nunnery; and sisters, Kathy Blanchard, Mary "Judy" Simmons.  He worked at Perry Brothers in Dunn for over 20 years, worked at Oil & Supply in Dunn for 14 years, and currently worked at Food Lion in Roseboro. He is survived by his wife, Donna L. Nunnery of the home; son, Harry L. Nunnery, Jr. of Dunn; step-children, Lisa Dale of Dunn, Ricky Wilkins of Dunn; three step-grandchildren; brothers and sister, Bill Nunnery of Garland, Ruby Williams-Brown of Salemburg, Alex Nunnery and wife Melody of Stedman, Marshall Nunnery and wife Betty of Leland; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00-2:50pm on Friday prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Bonnetsville Church of God of Prophecy, 3497 Roseboro Highway, Clinton, NC 28328.
