FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Harry Lee James, 89 of 2521 Muriel Drive, Fayetteville, died on Monday, September 8, 2014 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, September 12, 2014 at Cape Fear Baptist Church Cemetery, Grays Creek, with Rev. Andy Wood officiating. Mr. James was born on June 3, 1925 in Onslow County to Jessie W. and Gladys Jarman James. He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard and worked as a Painter. He is survived by his wife, Minnie A. James; one daughter, Nora Davis of Fayetteville; one son, Winfield James of Fayetteville; two sisters, Nora Furr of Hampstead and Mary Atkinson of Wilmington; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
