Harrell Corbett Sessoms,, 42 Jr.

Mr. Harrell Corbett Sessoms, Jr, 42, of 1897 Middle Road, Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2006 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 15, 2006 at 2:00 PM at Salem United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jay Winston and Rev. Melinda Ivey officiating. Burial will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park, Ramsey Street, Fayetteville. Mr. Sessoms was the son of the late Harrell Corbett Sessoms, Sr. and was a member of Salem United Methodist Church where he played the bass guitar and the flute with the church choir. He was an accomplished musician playing at various local churches and had previously performed in productions at the Cape Fear Regional Theatre. Harrell was a Jimmy Buffett fan and was an avid fan of NC State and the Carolina Hurricanes hockey team. He enjoyed the beach, playing golf and gardening at home. He was the IT Manager at Union Corrugating. Harrell is survived by: wife, Lisa Buck Sessoms, of the home; mother, Julia Faye Sessoms, of Fayetteville; mother-in-law, Earline Faircloth Buck, of Fayetteville. The family will recieve friends Friday night, April 14, 2006 from 6 till 8 PM at Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to the Salem United Methodist Church Building Fund, 2171 Middle Road, Fayetteville, NC 28312.
