Harold Kenneth "Jiggs" Carter, 78 of Stedman, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at his home.

The funeral will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, with Rev. Bryan Strickland and Rev. Tommy Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, Fayetteville.

Born October 23, 1938 in Cumberland County, he was the son of the late Dee Osler and Minnie Katherine Starling Carter. He worked with the County of Cumberland.

He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly and husband Steve Bullard of Fayetteville; sister, Edna Bullard of Roseboro; brothers, Robert Glenn Carter of Dunn, Jack and wife Gail Carter of Virginia; and his companion, Edna Honeycutt of Stedman.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 pm Saturday prior to the service and other times at the home.

Services are by Butler Funeral Home of Roseboro.
