STEDMAN Mr. Harold G. "Bud" Sparr, 76 of 318 Cherry Bark Dr., Stedman, N.C. died Tuesday, August 14, 2007 at his residence. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August, 18, 2007 at Cokesbury United Methodist Church in Stedman with Rev. Rose Conner officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Mr. Sparr is survived by: his wife of 53 years, Francis L. Sparr; daughters, Suelen Carver of Hope Mills, Julie Sparr of Gray's Creek and Elizabeth Cassidy and husband Jack of Stedman; son, Leroy Sparr and wife Barbara of Moyersdale, Pa.; brothers, Ken Sparr and wife Mary of Crivitz, Wi., Ray Sparr and wife Dorean of Wausaukee, Wi. and David Sparr of Wisconsin; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to Cokesbury United Methodist Church, 7536 Clinton Rd., Stedman, N.C. 28391.
