Gwendolyn Todd Walters, 73 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 14, 2024.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Lafayette Memorial Park West (Raeford Rd), officiating will be Rev. Louis Pender.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the funeral home before the graveside service.  We will be going in funeral procession to the cemetery.

Gwendolyn was proceeded in death by her parents, Leamon Todd and Theatus Gertrude Nobles; and her husband, Kenneth Walters, Sr.

Gwendolyn worked at Fayetteville Florist for many years.  She loved to read her bible, and spend time with her family.  She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Lewis Shelton, III; daughter, Shannon VanNiman; grandchildren, Alex VanNiman, Garrison and Shane Delacruz; and her sisters, Pamela Sosbee & husband, Larry and Teresa Norris & husband, David.
