Mrs. Grace C. Caton, 65

MACHIPONGO, VA Mrs. Grace Coble Caton, 65 of 12424 Trout Lane, Machipongo, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2008 at Village Green in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Butler Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Reaves officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch United Methodist Church cemetery. Mrs. Caton was born in 1942 and was a native of Bladen County. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles V. and Flora Belle M. Coble, her husband, William A. "Bill" Caton, and a sister, Hulda Coble Rice. She was a member of Lady's of the Oriental Shrine/Eastern Star, and Beta Sigma Phi. She was a Clam Farmer. Mrs. Caton is survived by: her daughter, Karen L. McLamb of Machipongo, VA; and three sisters, Joyce Coble Cain of Hope Mills, Virginia "Ginny" Coble Gillingham of Fayetteville, and Doris Coble Melvin of Ammon. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Shriner's Crippled Children's Foundation.
