Glenn Wenfred Maxwell, Sr., 75 passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at Highsmith Rainey Specialty Hospital.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, May 14, 2021 at Lafayette Memorial Park, officiating will be Pastor Michael Coram.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM Friday at the Butler Funeral Home in Stedman prior to the service. (There will be a funeral procession from the funeral home to the cemetery)
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Douglas Maxwell, Sr. and Valda Henderson Maxwell; and a sister, Teresa Nobles.
Glenn was a veteran of the United States Navy.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Maria "Laurie" Maxwell; children, Rhonda Adair (Greg), Sheila Dail (Frazier), Glenda Culbreth (David Porter), and Glenn Wenfred Maxwell, Jr. (Crystal); grandchildren, Devin Adair (Paige), Kyle Adair (Kasey), Logan Dail, Hanna Brown (Eric), Kylee Maxwell, Hayden Porter and Zayne Maxwell; great grandson, Hudson Brown; and brothers, C. Douglas Maxwell, Jr. and Eddie H. Maxwell.
