Mrs. Geraldine Horne, 67 passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas Burgette and Lou Della Lockamy Burgette; sisters, Jean Daniels and Anna Lou Guy; and brother, Gary Burgette.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel, officiating will be Pastor Glen Davis. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:30am to 12:45pm before the service.

She is survived by husband, Johnny Horne of the home; son, Bruce Horne (Amber) of Hope Mills; granddaughter, Abby Horne of Hope Mills; Sister, Doris Walters of Grays Greek; and brothers, Jimmy Burgette of Hope Mills and Allen Burgette (Denise) of Durham.
