Geraldine May (Elrod) Heinz

SALEMBURG Mrs. Geraldine May Elrod Heinz, 93 of Salemburg, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Southwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A graveside service will be held in Houghton, New York. She was born May 7, 1925 in Akron, Ohio and was the daughter of the late William and Flossie Shearer Elrod.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dr. Daniel A. Heinz; and daughter, Barbara K. Heinz. She is survived by her sons, Dan Heinz ( wife, Kaye ) of Salemburg, and Donald Heinz of Rochester, NY; and three grandchildren. The family would like to specially thank Southwood Nursing Faculty and Staff for their care and support. Butler Funeral Home of Roseboro is serving the family.
