Mr. George Wilson Wood, Jr. passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Gretna Health & Rehab Facility.

He was born in Cumberland County to the late George Wilson Wood, Sr. and Pauline Moore. He is also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Haas.

He is survived by his daughters, Kim Dalton & husband, Chris of Gretna, Virginia and Trudy Wood of Fayetteville; and a son, Matthew Wood of Wilmington.

A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00pm Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Butler Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Salemburg.
