George Truitt Nunnery, 85 went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 12, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, August 16, 2024 at Concord Baptist Church, burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM To 8:00 PM Thursday, August 15, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
George is preceded in death by his parents, Nathan T. Nunnery and Jrushia Autry Nunnery; wife, Virginia Page Nunnery; daughter, Barbara Parnell.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his sons, Allen Nunnery (Dorothy) of Autryville, and Douglas Nunnery (Michelle) of Stedman; daughter, Norma Jean Nunnery of Stedman; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Kenneth Page of Conway, SC; fur baby, TT; and many nieces and nephews.
