FAYETTEVILLE Mr. George Earl Hall, 87 of 325 N. Cool Spring Street, Fayetteville, died on Friday, February 8, 2013, at Haymount Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Fayetteville. The funeral will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Sharon Baptist Church with Rev. Rob Wingo and Rev. Larry West officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Hall was born on February 22, 1925, in Cumberland County to the late Chester Albert Hall and Flara Mae West Hall. He is preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Christine Edge Hall and his second wife, Julia Williams Hall. He was a WWII Army veteran, where he fought in Europe and received the Combat Infantry Badge and the Bronze Star. He is survived by: two daughters, Patsy Hall and husband, Hersey of Blythewood, SC and Bonnie Rivera and husband, Rafael of Concord, NC; one brother, Harold "Bill" Hall of Fayetteville; one grandson, Joshua Rivera; two great grandchildren, Alexander Rivera and Lilianna Rivera. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro. The funeral will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Sharon Baptist Church with Rev. Rob Wingo and Rev. Larry West officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
