AUTRYVILLE
Mr. George Vernon "G.V." Faircloth, Jr., 59 of 378 Dewitt Williams Road, died on Monday June 18, 2007 at his home.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 20, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. at Peniel Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Jeff Bartlett and Rev. Phil Bowden officiating. Burial will follow in the Williams Family Cemetery.
Mr. Faircloth was born in 1948 in Sampson County to the late George Vernon and Christelle Strickland Faircloth. Mr. Faircloth was a member of the Autryville Area Fire Department for 34 years, where he was former Chief and was serving on the Board of Directors. He was also a member of Peniel Pentecostal Holiness Church. He worked as an electrician before retiring.
Mr. Faircloth is survived by: his wife, Wilma Faircloth of the home; four daughters, Sirena Faircloth and husband Gilbert, of Autryville, Virginia "Jenny" Faircloth , of Autryville, Jennifer Everette and husband Jasonne, of Autryville, Callie Tierney and husband Chris, of Cary; two sisters, Sylvia Sessoms , of Autryville, and Alda Faircloth, of Autryville; two brothers, Tommy Douglas Faircloth , of Fayetteville, and Mike Faircloth of Autryville; and three grandchildren, Samantha Lee Faircloth of Autryville, Dimitri Faircloth of Autryville, Shannon Tierney of Cary.
Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at the home.
Services are entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro St., Roseboro.
