Mr. George Oscar Bryant, 74

AUTRYVILLE Mr. George Oscar Bryant, 74, of Autryville died Tuesday, September 10 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He was owner and operator of Bryant's Paint & Repair Service. He was born in Huntington, WV, the son of the late Oscar Bryant and Ethel Louise Tucker. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Shirley Muasky and two brothers, Jim Bryant and Hassel Bryant. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, September 13 at Calvary Tabernacle PFWB Church, 6570 High House Rd., Salemburg with Rev. Eddie McKeel officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Wilma Jean Bryant of the home; five daughters, Pegi Allen (husband Fletcher) of Tar Heel, Debra Kroinger (husband Roger) of Autryville, Robin Cherry (husband James) of Newton Grove, Tina Johnson (husband Mark) of Godwin and Tami Platter (husband Michael) of Pilot Mound, IW; one son, Michael Lee Bryant (wife Patricia) of Clement; four brothers, Charles Bryant, Douglas Ray Bryant Donnie Michael Bryant and Roger Dale Bryant, all of Huntington, WV; three sisters, Betty Jewel Blankenship of Huntington, WV, Daisey Jean Alicer of Santa Clarita, CA and Bonnie Gail Quchoho of Columbus, GA; nineteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, Thursday, September 12 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Rd., Stedman, NC.
