Mrs. Geneva Ammons, 62 of 613 McLamb Street, died on Friday, October 1, 2010 at her home.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 4, 2010 at Carr's Chapel Freewill Holiness Church with the Rev. Billy Bass and Rev. Teresa Ammons officiating. Burial will follow in the Roseboro Cemetery.
Mrs. Ammons was born on October 8, 1947 in Sampson County to the late Harvey and Callie Parker Jackson. She worked as a Hairdresser.
She is survived by: her husband, Richard "Pete" Ammons of the home; one daughter, Angela Hudson of Roseboro; one son, Michael Ammons of Salemburg; two sisters, Clara Sessoms and Evelyn Ammons both of Roseboro; two brothers, Bobby Jackson and Bud Jackson both of Roseboro; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at the home.
