Mr. Gene Dale Smith, 40

SALEMBURG Mr. Gene Dale Smith, 40 of 299 Old Salemburg Road, died Wednesday January 17, 2007 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. A memorial service will be held on Sunday January 21, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Rev. Allen Mayo and Rev. William Tew officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Mr. Smith was a native of Sampson County. He worked as a Car Salesman at Shamrock Auto Sales. Mr. Smith is survived by: two sons, Joshua Dale Smith and Joseph Cameron Smith both of Clinton; and his father and mother, Gene W. and Josephine Smith of Salemburg. Family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2 until 3 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at the home.
